DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)
As Direct Support Professional, you will play a highly interactive and mission critical role in the lives of those receiving services from SSVA. You will have the unique ability to make a positive and lasting impact on their lives. The ideal candidate is friendly and positive, open minded and flexible, engaged in the community, and likes to be active. You will support others in finding a balance between what is important to and for them and go out of their way to help them live the best life possible. A DSP will provide supervision and guidance for residents during skills building activities, as well as develop and implement individual treatment plans for IRSs (Individuals Receiving Services). He or she will assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene. Moreover, help develop a rapport with the IRSs and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship.
ASSISTANT SITE COORDINATOR (ASC)
The Assistant Site Coordinator position is responsible for providing hands on direct care and assistance to IRSs in all activities relating to daily living skills, personal hygiene skills, and physical and social integration within a community based residential program. This position is also expected to provide leadership, mentorship and direction to Direct Support Professionals and Direct Support Assistants.
QUALIFIED INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES PROFESSIONAL (QIDP)
As a QIDP, you will play a highly interactive and critical role in the lives of those receiving services from SSVA. The ideal candidate is friendly and positive, open minded and flexible, and a strong advocate for others while possessing excellent organization, time management, and communication skills. QIDP is responsible for providing direction, development and implementation, direct supervision and monitoring (observation and evaluation of staff implementing care, service plans & interacting with clients) to the service provided. This position has responsibility for approving assessments and individual service plans or treatment plans to ensure that appropriate services are provided to meet the needs of the individuals serviced.
SITE COORDINATOR (SC)
As a SC, you will play a highly interactive and mission critical role in the lives of those receiving services from SSVA. an SC must coordinate all operations and activities of the site, including staff supervision, acting as agency/community liaison, and overseeing individual supports. This role has full responsibility for implementation of the Customer Support Plan of the people to whom you are assigned. This role is also expected to provide leadership, mentorship, direction to Direct Support Professionals and Assistant Site Coordinators, and act as a role model for Positive Practices in the workplace. This position reports to the Site Service Coordinator or Regional Head of Services.
